Because Revolver is exclusive to LocoSkates we were able to streamline the supply-chain and dramatically lower the price you would usually expect to pay for aĀ wheel of this quality.
This 100mm / 86a wheel has an elliptical (rounded) profile and features a unique solid core which is unusual for a wheel of this size. The solid core makes for great shock-absorption, giving the wheels a satisfying 'rumble' when compared to a spoked wheel. The relatively small size of the core also gives more rebound vs a wheel with a larger core. In our opinion this makes them a great option for outdoor skating and improved performance on imperfect surfaces. The rounded profile of the wheel is less bullet-shaped (pointy!) than many other 100mm wheels, giving the Revolver wheels a stability advantage; something we discovered to be important to the average user of a 100mm wheel during our research.
The 86a hardness was designed to best provide a balance of speed, grip and rebound at this size.
