UsingĀ one-sided speed axles (meaning you only need one Allen key to change wheels)Ā the frame isĀ super lightweight whilst the solid frame walls provide great responsiveness.
The unique feature of the GC HD 80mm frame is that the frame length is proportioned properly to foot size. Often, when brand'sĀ increase the length of a frameĀ they also increase the wheel size which heightens the centre of gravity.Ā This is not the case with the HD 80mm which uses three frame lengths all with 80mm wheels - altering the effective contact (distance between each wheel) on each one. This keeps the skate low to the ground and the frame length correctly aligned.Ā
